Random Paragraph Generator

Generate full paragraphs of 4–6 connected-feeling sentences instead of single lines.

Quantity
Structure

Sometimes one sentence is not enough. This preset groups generated sentences into paragraphs, which works well for placeholder blocks, summarizing practice, and reading-fluency drills.

Each paragraph contains four to six sentences that share your chosen tone, topic, tense and vocabulary level, so a batch reads with a consistent voice even though every sentence is generated independently. For layout work, that consistency matters: a paragraph of matching register wraps and scans like real content, revealing spacing and typography problems that a single repeated line would hide.

For teaching, the independence of the sentences is a feature rather than a flaw. Ask students to read a generated paragraph and identify why it does not quite cohere — no pronoun references, no linking phrases, no shared subject — then rewrite it so it flows. That editing exercise teaches cohesion devices (however, meanwhile, this, they) more effectively than a worksheet, because the raw material is different every time.

Two independent clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction: “The chef baked a cake, and the children watched eagerly.”

Complex sentences

An independent clause plus a dependent clause: “Although the librarian hesitated, the detective examined the map.”
